I think my shop used 2.25" ID pipes, not 2.5", I can check if you want me to.

I think I'm set on 2.5" piping, but thanks for the help, $275 isn't bad. 4.10's should be here by the end of the week, so maybe I'll have it all done at once.

2.5 will be good. I wouldn't go with 2.25" because of how it will pop and crackle like crazy, but some people swear by 2.25", I just dont.

Replicate Patricks exhaust, nice, deep and loud. Or grab some Magnaflow 11" bodies or Borla Pro XS mufflers, should suit you well. My system has me quite happy. Clips and stats available in sig.
not enough scavenging, rpms up higher shift alot more-totally the opposite here with my 2.25" setup

so u recoomend him going with 2.5" and decreasing his velocity, employing the static regain method?,my 2.25 " does not pop or cackle-i guess your 2.25" did pop and cackle since you said it will do that ,you obviously speak from experience with 2.25"

im late too, and half of the thread is about me :o

Having the X pipe up closer will help balance things out before they get too far back. You want the mufflers as far back as you can for their own lifespan/longevity.

You can also do over the axle dumped, which will probably be my next setup once i have a little more time and money to throw at it.
