Would this sound ok?

ok as some may know i was wanting to do high flow cats, but everywhere around here wants alot for it to be done and i dont have that kind of money now. so what would a y-pipe in place of my super44 sound like? i mean i love the tone the super44 gives but i want it a little bit louder. will a y-pipe in place of muffler give me the straight pipe sound or is there a better "cheaper" route to go? Thanks

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRLHBtDHwlo Thats how.

I would keep the Super 44, great sounding muffler. If you want more sound and cant find someone to do the work, plan and arrange and do it yourself like I did ( rear cat delete ) granted my inspector will over-look that small factor, no emissions.

I had a similar problem with mine, they would do the work for a decent fair price, but would not touch the pre-converters.

If you have no emissions, and an inspection connection, consider removing the rear cats yourself and doing the Gotts O2 mod, you would be happy

Better performance since its single, not such a sweet sound as true duals though.
