11" or 14" Maggie

I would like to get either an 11" or 14" SI / DO magnaflow, any suggestions or comments on the size? will the performance be affected with either?
Any help would be great Thanks

Performance will be great with either. Both excellent choices.

The catch is, the 14" is available in SI/DO configuration which is great for performance, 11" is only available in SI/SO or DI/DO. So with an 11", you either stay single, or get dual pipes. Single exhaust performs best, SI/DO performs 2nd best, true duals sounds best but lags your performance. Its all up to you.

11" Maggie P/N ??-Darren or f-150 fellow

11" Magnaflow sounds like the way I'll try,, Do you guys know the part # for this muffler ?? is it round/oval, straight thru or off-set, can I buy the extra pipe and clamp it on myself or should I take it to a muffler shop to be welded??
Darren I went through Wellsboro last week, I didn't hear your truck, Ha Ha
Thanks for the Guys

im gonna hold off on the part number, im gonna let darren get that for you,
i think this is what your looking for http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7848

i would just buy the muffler and take it to a shop and get the exhaust guy to cut the factory off and weld up the new one with a turndown or possibly a tip if you want

or you could do a cheaper route and buy the muffler and a turndown and 2 clamps and do it your self

True duals can hurt performance if not set up correctly (wrong size piping or lack of X or H pipe). If the proper size pipe is used along with an X or H pipe true duals will help performance.

Thats what I was getting at. They should really make a crossover pipe for these trucks

My mufflers are part # 11366. Its the natural finish, still stainless steel, just not shiny, who needs shiny mufflers exept the ricers, just my view

Ah really? Do you happen to be local to Wellsboro? If so i'm sure we could arrange a way to hear my Magnaflows in person before purchasing for some re-assurance.

I would take the muffler to shop and have it installed. The OEM muffler is 32"s, and the Magnaflow 11" body is, oviously 11", thats quite a bit of space to make up.

I can answer that one,

https://www.f150online.com/forums/3396706-post20.html

To go along with what I have stated in that sentence, my 0 - 60 is 9 seconds....
