I've got a magnaflow DI/DO 11386 in my 06 w/5.4 and it sounds great. I kept the cats and ran the pipes out to the corners of the bumper with 4X18" tips. It's got a nice rumble at idle and highway speeds (70+) and freakin roars at WOT.

Do you have a video of that by any chance?

Flowmaster Super 44 muffler would due you good. I had them on my old truck and they roared, real deep at low rpm, woke everything up at night.

If you want to step it up another notch, go with the Flowmaster 10 series, 06XLT on here has a similar muffler i'm certain he will post soon. Sounds great on his 06 with all cats!

I highly recommend AERO Exhaust. I have one in place of the stock muffler. Sounds amazing. On YouTube my account name is 900443980. I'd post the url but I'm on my blackberry waiting for classes to start. I have 2 vids of my truck on there. One with all 4 cats and 1 with 2 cats taken off. If you can't find it that way email me and I'll give you the url once I get home. The vids will be clearly labled as f150 with mods or aero exhaust f150.

Magnaflow is always a good choice. Remember the smaller the body of the muffler the louder it will be.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ni-cUPcSAxk this is the vid with all 4 cats and my Aero Exhaust (also on here in the video is a Volant Cold Air Intake)
____

I then took 2 rear cats off and still have the Aero exhaust and Volant Cold Air intake and also I added a 1" throttle body spacer

what you can do to get straights is take a glass pack and put a piece of pipe through so there is a muffler in the exhaust system, but the exhaust never reaches the packing material.

i have an 06 5.4L and the loudest muffler i found for it was the flowmaster 10 series....it seemed loud to me for about a year in a half but now i just have straight pipes and love it...but u would be happy with the 10 series...just make sure you get like 4 inch tips and u will love it.
