CAI Question

So i've been reading through these threads and see a lot of CAI with tuning posts. I see in these post most people talk about 2004 and newer trucks.

I just bought a S&B CAI for my 98 4.6 truck. Do I need a tuning? I had the exhaust done.

exactly, for the 2004 and newer 3 valve 5.4 engines due to the sensitive MAF and tune

a custom tune is always best to maximize the gains from your upgrades

you wont regret getting a tune. i've heard of people with a tune and CAI on their 4.6 putting out numbers like a 5.4. hey, all i know is more power cant hurt too much, huh?

nice on the 98 4.6!
