My new exhaust

I got my new exhaust (Magnaflow SI/DO) and 3" chrome tips put on last week. Then went on vacation and drove 3 1/2 hours up to Northern MI to break it in. I thought it was a little loud at first but, it growing on me. I do love the sound. Here are a couple pics and a sound clip (the sound clip doesn't do it justice.... )

Sound clip

I picked this location because the wife said she didn't want to see it coming out the side....: This was also the one she liked best.....

It looks really good...almost so good that I may do my setup a similar way instead of doing a side exit before the tire. How much louder than stock is it?

Looks Great Nice Idea to do something different other than the same old way the exhaust always tends to exit. We appreciate your business.

It's not that much louder at idle and cruising down the road, but at WOT you can hear it. I went with the 14" body, you can get the 18" I would think that would be a little more quiet. The first night I had it done, I went to pick up (haha no pun intended) a pizza, when I came back, my wife told me she could hear me pulling out of the sub.

I showed a guy hear at work yesterday, he loved it, said it sounded awesome! Now he wants one for his 2007 V6 Mustang (don't think he'll do it, it's a lease).

I'll see if I can get a better sound clip of it, I'll put my camera right next to the pipe.

Dont put it smack dab right up next to the pipe.. you wont capture the sound at all well. Mount your camera atleast 5' behind the truck/exhaust tips to capture the true sound of it. Right up close all you are doing is capturing a little sound of the exhaust with alot of un-pleasant and un-neccessary noise disortion. View my 'Cold Start Warm Revs' video in my signature for an example.

OK, I'll give it a try when I get a chance. I'll even try my wife's camera to see if that sounds any different.
