Yeah that truck sounds good, but hes running a Diesel exhaust, which I cant imagine being too healthy for the engine. I thought it was a Flowmaster at first.

If I were you I would just save for the cats, $120 is about all you would need.

id say go with hi flows, but if your thinkin straight pipe cuz your maggies not loud enough, then either go with a straight pipe set up, or (i hate to say this) cut the cats off....AAAHHHHH.....or get a louder muffler

Dont you dare suggest no cats!

The hi-flow cats will run about $55 - $75 each, theres 3 different ones you can choose from, the common one everyone uses, 94306, the same size cat but a bit louder, 94006, and the louder and shorter version, 94106.

If you were to want a louder muffler with still a deep tone, Flowmaster Super 44 would be my suggestion.

Find a new shop. Shouldn't be more than $50.

they start running bad, sound worse, mess up the computer, drop MPG's, and performance

I have an '05 FX4 5.4l and I want to run Maggie cats and straight pipes. What cats would you recommend. I am in PA so I just need to pass 49 state legal EPA. Thanks. I looked on Magnaflows website and the universal cats for that year are only 4.6l rated.

2 Magnaflow cats will operate properly on Ford trucks, part #s 94306, 94006, and 94106. The 106 is a 9" long body ( loudest ) 306 and 006 are both 12" but 006 is a hair louder. I would get 94306 for the way you want to run your exhaust.
