cats deleted, no check engine light

i deleted my rear cats on 01 and have have no check engine light, this normal, i thought i should have a check engine light? also i acidently hit one of the 02 sensors with the welder,(dont ask) it was the actual part inside the pipe, is this bad i thought they only made sure the cats were cleaning the exhaust so i should run okay still right

Yes you should be alright. But if in any case the computer found out there is no rear cats, your CEL may pop on. But you shouldn't have a light. All depends how the condition of your rear O2s are.

it may take a few drive cycles for the light to come on.
