Packaged System

As a new F150 owner, I started looking at a new exhaust system. I have done much research here but haven't seen mention of these systems.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ford-...mZ350102624713.

Do any of you have any experience with these, they look like a pretty good deal.

Thanks.

i thought so too, but they are crush bent and not mandrel bent, thats why they are so cheap. crush bent restricts exhaust flow more so then stock, you need to go with a good quality mandrel system.

if you've been reading this forum for awhile, then youll most people believe that your best bet is to buy the muffler and tips you want and have an exhaust shop put in for you.

I can easilly see the crush bends on the angles of the bends. Those tailpipes look too damn big to properly fit under an F150 also. And the year range, '87 - '07, yeah uhh, underneith those truck years is much different with them all. Just buy the muffler and tips.

Oh wow yeah, you can definetly see that it is crush bent. Just look at the corner of the pipe on the left, see all the lines (kinks, crimps, etc ). My system is not mandrel bent, but it is smooth bent. I have none of those kinks where the pipes are bent, all tho i did lose some diameter where each pipe turns so that sucks.

Just buy the muffler and tips and try to find a shop that does Mandrel bends (good luck in that), or at the very least smooth bends. Listen to these guys that posted, they know what they are talking about!!!!

After much research I ended up ordering the Roush off road system. I liked the idea that is is made out of T-304 stainless, hopefully it will hold up to Indiana winters!

Excellent choice. My favorite exhaust for the 04+ trucks. It will sound great.
