Removed rear cats, added mufflers

Well I removed the rear cats on my 04 and put in 2 Magnaflow 12216 mufflers. So far its real quiet compared to having no mufflers at all. I hope it loudeds up some what. However, I can hear my whipple ALOT better and my radio too now, so its a trade off.

There are no rear 02 sensors for the last cat, so I dunno why people would get Check Engine Lights. Maybe if I made the fronts high flows.

Can you get a sound clip? How did you route the pipes?

Well pipe routing was already done when I had the orginal cat back done where I had an Xpipe put in and had no mufflers. We had to work to get the two mufflers in but they barely fit. Just exits stock location, which I may change in the future.

As far as sound I dont have any cameras or anything =(.

Its pretty quiet, I was expecting it to be alot louder.

Awesome. I got the same system but with the 11" body mufflers.

They will break in more after a couple thousand miles and you should be happy.

yea they sound real nice when I get WOT and I hear my blower whine alot more! I think I should be happy in the end.

BTW I must have watched ur video 500 times now Darren. Mines not that loud (that I notice anyway) but still sounds real deep! And I like the burnout video, when I can afford new tires, Im sure these lame as ones will be destroyed.

Thats the way to do it Thanks man, it will get there. My system has a little over 2,000 miles on it now, I pulled the rear cats out at about 1100 miles. Waiting for the 6,000 mile to come around and see how much louder it gets. Hopefully i'll be happy with them. I want to hear my idle better.
