Another Cat question!!

If I remove or put a straight pipe in the two cats on my 07 5.4, will Mil eliminators take care of the CEL, or do I need a programmer? Also can I run it for a while with the CEL or will it run rough?

No cats sounds kind of rough, IMO.

Darren, I want to go with a true duals x piped like you have. I am at work and cant pull up your pics or vids of your work, but I will use it as a template as I have the X-pipe off my 300C that would fit perfectly. I also have another SLP muffler and magnaflow 4x18 tip to match the ones that are on my truck now. I just need it to be louder!!! Coming from 2 straight piped diesels and a straight piped 300c, this aint cuttin it.

I doubt it will be as loud as my last few vehicles. We will see though, I am gonna have it done in the next few weeks if I can talk my exhaust guy into doing it.
