My local shop charges 10 bucks a foot for as many bends as you need id try the local place frist. are you looking to get a muffler too? most exhuast systems are gonna be cat back and replace your muffler.
well i may be gettin some tips from someone and i havent decided if i am goin to get a cheap si/do muffler or just gettin a y-pipe inplace of the stock muffler
i think i will call around to some local shops over the next few days

Your always best off having a shop measure and bend the pipes for you. Shouldn't run you too much, $80 I would imagine. And then you can install them yourself if you wish.
my buddy went up to my local shop he just told them to bend up the pipes but they installed them for no extra cost. and its very very very thick pipe. i had them make my down pipes they do good work up there. i need to run my pipes to the back of the truck but i dont have 120-150 bucks layin around. ill get it done soon thoe and see what you guys think of my tips hehe its gonna be nuts.

pretty sweet man.
I think for quality and price, buy an aftermarket aftercat kit, good pipes, and muffler for a decent price. We have a flowmaster single in / dual out "force 2" system behind Dynatech headers w/cats, and it sound phenominal and the piping looks good after 3 years. We also have a "muffler shop" dual exhaust on a 95 f 150 and the muffler, tips, and tubing, look like crap and I think that system cost almost twice as much. Ans of coarse, installing an exhaust in kit form is very easy and it gave me an excuse to buy a wire feed welder to tack all of the connections and get rid of the clamps. I say "find a good kit". Flowmaster,etc...

Pulling the stock muffler out never hurts much, then when you have a couple hundred saved, get a full system done.
