exhaust exit question

exhaust exit question

i have been looking all over for the style exhaust that is dual rear exit but comes out on a 45 degree angle (between rear and side). any body know who makes this style exit????? and what it's called???

Umm, well many exhaust manufacturers that offer cat-backs for our trucks offer these kits. Its generally called side exit, or side swept. Go to an exhaust shop with a dual outlet muffler, and two exhaust tips of your choice, and tell them how to install it, they can bend it that way. Thats what I did, but I have a true dual system.

thanks thats what i was looking for, i thought that side exit may have been like the stock exhaust (90 degree angle )

Nope, Mine is 45 degree bent with a little angled downwards. If you were to order a side exit before tire kit, that would most likely be 90 angled.

MBRP makes a kit that exits behind the wheels at a 45 degree. I just put one on and love it. I'd post a pciture too, but I guess I'm not "senior" enough or something to add an attachment. Can't seem to add pics to my old gallery either. ??????
