2 Magnaflow hi-flow cats
1 Magnaflow x-pipe
2 14" Magnaflow round mufflers (part 10415)
2 18" long 3.5" slashed tips
The piping was all 2.25"
that sounds sick as hell...and pretty much what i wanna do BUT will it give a performance drop? with a true dual?

Most likely. My 2.5" true duals X piped sort of made my truck sluggish, but a custom tune will tune it out to perform well, I'm looking to tune mine real soon. But, stock I was doing 15.3mpg, now i'm doing 16.2 after exhaust, and increasing my PSI up by 5.

lol well considering that my uncle does all my inspections and lets my 2.5% tint slide eveytime i dont think ill have a problem with no cats.....but im still so confused as to what i should do..i tihnk the most economical way to solve my problem would be no muffler and x-pipe but someone earlier said no (cant remeber who)...i DONT want to lose power and im NOT getting a tune casue i already have a handheld that i bought before i knew abotu custom tunes and im not abotu to spend more money to fix my mistake

well f150fella is running with flowmasters which have been known to take away performance and fuel mileage. and as far as straight pipes go, it depends on the pipe size and how many cats and what type and the mufflers you run if any. you still need some type of backpressure for gas engines. if you get long tubes and a cai it will help regain some of your lost power. otherwise i'd say go with two high flow cats and a y pipe and two tail pipes.

well i dont know why people think i give a crap about performance or fuel milage, if i did i would have borla or bassani or magnaflow mufflers and the trucks paid for so i dont care about gas milage anymore, i like my true dual 10 series mufflers thats why i bought them, and as far as straights go it depends on the sice and what type of muffler you buy, if you have mufflers thats not straights dude, and if you have straights then you will need to run like 2" pipe to get the backpressure back

ok true duals, happy?. i like flows too. i was just saying thats probably why you lost mpg. i could care less about who does or doesnt care about mpg. i dont know if he's too worried about it or not. i was just explaining the possibilities and what he could do for what he wants. if he's not worried about it i'd recommend flows because they are louder than magnaflow.
