Cat 02

I want to remove the rear cats in my 2000 f150 but there is an 02 after it on both of them. Its not in the cat though. Would it turn the light on or be illegal if i put a pipe in place of it but kept the sensors where there at.

No, buy two single cats, part #94306. Will work properly without a CEL.

Yes I did. I have a 2004 - 2005 cat system which does not monitor the rear cats, its front sensors, pre-cats, rear sensors, rear cats. Yours is front sensors, pre-cats, rear cats with sensors mounted in them. So unless you get eliminators to kill the CEL you wont be able to do the same without an engine light.

its not in the cat but its avout 3 inches after it so technically it is reading it is what your saying. And putting a hi flo cat would give it the proper readings

oh really? I guess 2001 - 2003 is the in-cat mounted sensor. You will still set a CEL if you straight pipe it, so the hi flow cats would most likely be the best option for you. Will keep you legal, and perform a hell of alot better than the stock system, and volume it up much more.
