What would be the quietest after market exhaust be for the F150 (5.4)?

Probably will go with a single in-dual out muffler. Not sure if I'll go straight out the back or to the side with the tail-pipes though.

I want absolutely no cab resonation and very quiet (but audible) outside.

Probably the 18 inch Magnaflow. I really wish you had not titled the thread like that. Does that mean that in a few years I may not enjoy the sound of my Flowmasters?

Don't worry bluejay, you'll still enjoy the exhaust on other people's trucks.

I agree ... Although, it'd probably be almost pointless to get it. I think the 18" would be a good choice.

Most don't like it because its to quiet! I love it because it is. I take long road trips and could not take the "Great Sounds" some of the others make for 4 or 5 hours at a time.......

People are just different, and that's fine. I drive for 4 or 5 hours and I hate to stop as I have been enjoying the music my exhaust makes. I really only here it under acceleration, otherwise, I can just barely tell it's there. It's a Flowmaster 40, SIDO.

It sounds like you're looking for the 18" Magnaflow. No drone, and barely noticeable at cruising speeds. But when you put your foot down you still get something in return.

I really like my Corsa Sport. Absolutely no drone. I just got back from a 400 mile trip and it didn't matter how fast I went (65-95) no drone. Around town you can hear it when you take off, but once you get up to speed you can barely hear it. I also like it because it is a little different look.
