Arrow Am I Missing Something? FR 04/05 C Headers for $279

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

Anyone have any luck with these headers on the 04/05 3V Triton's? Notice any performance gains? How is the installation? Painful? Or somewhat easy?

At $279 I might have to get them just for looks.

They look real good, 409 stainless, that should only surface rust if anything. I have no plans for headers so install I dont know, but it will definitely be a PITA job.

Short tubes really dont do much, Long tubes is where its at. From my understanding headers are easy to do, pull both front tires off and the fenderwell cover and bam right there.

Good info. I'm not really up on the header world. Shorties. Longies. I've heard pros and cons for both. Any recommendations?

Will they fit though? That's the real question.

headers

i installed shortty headers on my 04. it was a real pain in the butt to install
but very worth it.. gained about 3mpg and lost about .3 in the 1/4 mile.
so i'd say its worth it

you will have to lift each side of the motor to get to all of the header bolts

i would go w/ long tubes if you want power. but i think you will have to re-run all your piping because they wont bolt up to where your originals did. shorties i believe will tho.
