4.6Liter V8 - get a good sound by ONLY installing a Flowmaster 50 muffler??
Well I found out later, that he didn't remove my precats. He gutted them for me instead. I was upset at first, but as much as I LOVE the new sound, I'm not going to complain. Looks like I'm getting about 1 mpg more now too, might be the exhaust, might be coincidence.
Yeah, he said he still had the "guts" at the shop if I wanted to see what was in there. Might go snap a photo for you guys.
I would not choose the 50 series if in a quest for "deep" sound. I currently have a DF50 and it only sounds relatively "deep" only at highway speeds. DF40 probably would be better in yielding that deep sound. The original 40 might be too much to handle though, I'd choose carefully before actual installation.

Next I am cutting the rears cats, but thats how much was invested and what is currently installed.
