Getting a saw underneath there is not happening with how limited space is.

hand sawing through exhaust pipe blows. id rather spend the money on an electric saw before i did that crap again. my sawzaw slices that stuff like butter. handsaw took me way way way to long and its already been said. its way tight under there to use one. heck you may even find yourself using the electric saw for other things once you have it.

You don't have to use a hack saw.

Get a pipe cutter.....the kind that has a small chain with circular blades that run the length of the chain. Wrap the chain around the pipe, lock it inplace and work it back and forth untill it cuts all the way through. Thats what I did.

Then, get the exhaust parts you want (make sure they are all slip fit) then clamp it all in place. Get HIGH QUALITY clamps that are 100% stainless. It's actually quite easy to do this.

I got supplies & clamps. Interesting sounding pipe cutter. One of these days my friend will have his saw.
