and i can list off the reasons why too. EGR inseffent flow, o2 senor bank 1 senor 2 bank 2 senor 2. EGR has been on there since i got the truck and the o2 stuff since i removed the o2's.

haha come on al my trucks not that loud inside i just went on a 300 mile round trip across michigan and i can still hear....kind of..... lol im not paying 300 freaking dollars to have my driver side pipe go to the passenger side screw that ill do it my self when i get the money or just leave it.

well guys im going to do what everyone on this site has always wanted to do! Lightning style tips on both sides!!! im going to cut off my 3" bullets replace them with 2 1/2" bullets get a splitter to go 1 2 1/2" pipe in 2 out on both sides and get 4 3.5" slash cut tips lay um on there side just like lightning tips only true duals and out both sides.

Do you think going down to 2 1/2" pipe will get me back some of that low end grunt that these 3" mufflers are takin? im necking down after the cut-outs those are staying 3" but there only 6-8 inchs long i know im suppost to neck down right after the collector but are those 6-8 inchs more really gonna hurt to much?

ill keep you guys updated should be about 2-4 weeks before its completly done!

Anyone know were i can get some good stainless steel 3.5" slash cut tips like the lightnings for a pretty
good price?

Does anyone know were i can get the single 2 1/2" pipe in and dual 2 1/2" out? i saw one somewere but it might have been a tip any help would be great!

it's not just the 3" mufflers.it's the 3" piping in general that cost you the low end- going to smaller tubing will bring your static pressure back up.

prob shouldnt have gone that far in my photobucket....basicly i lost a bet my buddy said if i threw up drinkin again id have to shave my chest n back...well i thought this would be a funny pic to take half n half. it was pretty funny shaved it all and it grew back as thick about 4 weeks later.

Anyways back to my exhuast so that extra 6 inchs of 3" pipe that is my cut-outs will hurt? i thought as long as the 2 1/2" is longer then the 3" id pick up the low end again.

i really need to find those splitter pipes. And what are some good 3.5" slash cuts i can get?

well with the help of Darren WS6 finding some parts for me. i found dynomax bullets 2 1/2" in and 2 1/2" out 39.95 each. a splitter pipe thats single in dual out made by magnaflow stainless steel 26.00 each. and finaly edelbrock tips 2.5" in 3.5" 49.95 each. this is gonna cost me 327 bucks total... the tips cost more then my whole exhuast - the headers lol.

my truck is wanting a new exhuast too. i turned a coner to day and herd CLINK looked in my mirror my 3" to 3" adapter cut-out and muffler are sitting in the road i turn around and grab it my 3" to 3" adapter is messed up i ran it over but the cut-out is fine... new adapter and im good to go. that passenger side hasnt had good luck i had the muffler on that side fall off before too. oh well

Here are the links in order Bullets, Spilters and tips

the half shaven dude is me!!!! i lost a bet had to shave my chest n back....

anyways AGAIN back to my exhuast. heres a picture of my tips * got diff. one i didnt like hte rolled egde so i got magnaflow slash cut stright egde looks sweet* splitters n bullets *taking bullet back or sellin them replacing them with 2 dynomax ultra flow welded.

the videos are of my truck with dynomax super turbos a start n rev then a 0-60 this is sooooo qutie!!! going from bullets to super turbos!! cant wait till 2 morro when i get my ultra flows
heres tips spliters n bullet

just tips

start up n rev video

0-60....its bad the volume was only about half way up and you can still hear the song over my mufflers!

these super turbos gotta go!! going from dynomax's loudest muffler to there 2nd quitest is bad!!! ultra flow welded is about the middle should sound alot better.

also i saw sawed the 3" cut-out off and just necked it to 2 1/2" right from the collector gonna sell my buddy my 3" cut-outs and buy 2 1/2" cut-outs. i can deff feel a power increase my truck gets up off this *** and goes when it gets into its power band. these super turbos suck for flow they only flow 410CFM the ultra flows weled flow 1,133 CFM so it'll be faster yet!

thanks again Darren your the man when it comes to exhuast!!

Damn dude you are hairy

Them Super turbos are pretty damn quiet, even with the phone quality camera. Sweet to see your new set up pieces are coming along.

Definitely like these tips better, and your right those super turbos have to go they are way way to quite. Cant wait to see the completed setup.
BTW did you find out if the tank has a leak or not?
