I have been very satisfied with the Banks single exit. People are always looking to see what is coming, but it is not obnoxious from the inside. Sorry, no sound clips.

Flowmaster and the like is the worse for performance. I'd say my personal favorites for performance and sound are Magnaflow, Dynomax, Borla, etc. I'd go with a bullet style muffler. All of these companies make one but I have to say that the Magnaflow bullet style muffler is probably the best as in terms of quality, performance, and sound quality. It's called the Magnaflow Magnapack.

It might have Banks engraved in the muffler, but it's a Magnaflow. The Banks exhaust comes with a Magnaflow polished 6" round, 3" centered in and out. The Banks just has larger tubing.

Unrelated to the thread or any poster, just a comment.
Diesels don't have exhausts, they have chimneys.

Are you sure about that? As far as I know, Banks produces their own exhaust systems, not Magnaflow.

The Banks difference is clearly demonstrated in its Manufacturing Division. While many aftermarket suppliers farm-out designs or assemble “grab-bag kits” from various sources, Banks manufactures to exacting specifications every product it designs.

Yes, Banks does make their own exhaust system, In fact I felt that the 6" was a little too load so I replaced it with a larger Magnaflow muffler. Banks either stole the tooling from Magnaflow or Magnaflow is making the muffler for Banks.

Well, Im not really sure . But , I do know they use the same muffler . Single in single out . The dual Banks Just has a y pipe after the muffler . Seemed a bit cheezy for me . Imo , It should have been a single in , dual out . Thats why I went with the single .

I have the Stinger system with the single exit. Totally quiet at idle and really opens up when you step on it.
