Maggie 14" now installed

Well thanks to the recommendations from several here I went with the Maggie 14" SI/SO on my F150 Screw. Originally I had the Magnaflow (PN 15609) catback system that came with a 24" muffler. At first with the windows up I was disappointed (it sounded quieter than my 24"). When I lowered all windows I had a smile on my face. Certainly louder and deeper than original system. However on the highway, the cab droned less with the 14". As odd as that sounds...the original system had a deeper and louder rumble inside the cab. But I remember when I first got that catback it was barely noticeable in sound and in time got much louder. I'm assuming the same thing with the 14"?

Anyhow with the windows down it sounds awesome. I wasn't looking for wicked loud as I have my 900hp Camaro SS for that . I was just going for deep bassy rumble that if I punch it can still turn heads. The 14" maggies gave me that. Now I just hope it gets somewhat louder as I put more miles through it!

It will get much louder and deeper as time goes on.. It'll be fine.
Glad you're happy with it!

Oh yeah, it'll be great for you, that's what I had done before I went high flow/true duals. It certainly gets louder with time, I'd say mine kept getting louder for nearly 6,000 miles before it leveled off.

Mine have definitely gotten louder over time. Get some hi-flow cats on there and it'll sound even more

Cool...glad to hear it will get louder. I think it sounds great when I punch it...I can't wait until it's in its prime. I also just installed an AF1 tonight.

Congrats man. The reason its quieter inside is because the shorter length muffler is fully under the bed, not under the cab a little like the larger 24" was. And all of that Rock wool still needs to be worn in better. Its louder outside no worries
