Corsa exhaust

I believe the one in the clip is the sport exhaust and to me it's too loud. But thanks for all the replies.

Remains me of an older Chevy/GMC 350 with Flowmaster 40s. Not my style exhaust but if people like it then that cool.

I have the exact system that is in the clip( sport exhaust dual rear exit) it does not sound that loud in person.I am pushing 50,and I do not find it offensive,if you want it tamer than that, you might as well keep your OE system on.

exhaust

I want the advantages of a cat-back system (i.e.more horsepower, fuel economy) without the loudness. I believe the Corsa Touring will work great.

Loud just to be loud is.... I have heard and respected some very loud cars and trucks with plenty of horsepower and thunder to let you know, but I like to quietly blow the doors off the loud for the sake of noise young puppies that need a lesson....Plus loud lets the world, neighbors and the cops know when you go, here you come, when you get on it or get off it....

I have run the Corsa Touring muffler nearly 2 years (about 60K) and it rumbles when you step on it but quiet when you cruise as advertised....I take too many road trips to put up with too much loud.

Sounds to me like you had your mind made up from the beginning. Give the system a shot and see if you like it...it seems to be what you are looking for.

Good luck. It will get a bit louder over time and miles driven than when new but you can still be stealthy when you want to versus the always on of other pipes.

You won't find it "cheap" anywhere, but it is well worth the extra money. I have the Corsa Sport on my 04 4.6L and you couldn't ask for anything better. Fit, finish and quality is excellent. Sound is great, it has a nice throaty growl outside of the truck, and is loud at WOT, but during normal cruising you cannot hear it in the cab at all. One thing I love about my F150 is it is quieter on the highway than my Audi A4, I wanted an aftermarket exhaust but didn't want to ruin that. It also gave a noticeable horsepower and torque gain. I noticed you are in Ohio, Corsa is located in Berea, OH. Email Gus Markou he will hook you up with a good deal gmarkou (at) corsaperf.com. He has an 5.4L F150 himself and knows the systems well for our trucks. Corsa is one of our customers, so I am not sure how much influence that had, but I got the system below MSRP (same price as the cheapest place I found online) and a free install by their R&D dept.
