yea me to dude ive kinda gotten out of that tho i still like em loud and soundin good but just easy on the gas its not worth it

haha.. yea we went from my f150 and bronco to a malibu and siverado.. weird how that happened.. my dad has always grew up on chevys.. i like ford, but like evryone else we wish some things were better..

The 5.3 will go, but I cant guarantee you it will be as mechanically sound as the Ford modular V8 will be, My Silverado with the 6.0L gas had a f**k up in cyl #5 and blew the power steering and braking, said "f**k this truck"

yea i agree.. i dont plan on doin alot to it.. im just gunna throw on a maggy and possibly a used K&N 77 series and call it a day... i just want a little more sound

Well then LS based engines will satisfy your sound needs for sure. Good sounding engine they are. Can get real loud, and complimented with a Magnaflow, very nice tone. And 18" on a GM truck sounds like a 14" on an F150 ( sound level wise )

well to let anyone kno whos sees that i have these for sale.. they wont be available until september bc im in FL and live in Ny... i moved down here for 5 months... september 3rd is my last day here.. im stopping in NC for a few days then going home for my birthday... so pm me if u might want them in september.. they will go fast.. i cant wait to to get this prob fixed in the classifieds...

as for the silverado, i keep forgetting to ask my dad what engine it has in it.. i shouldnt have sad 5.3 before but i think its that since its a extended cab with a long bed.. its 2wd tho which sucks but thats what my dad wanted.. he says he doesnt need it anymore.. im like, dad we live on the moutains for NY haha.. who doesnt need 4wd in NY

yea but not when ur coming back from school in a blizzard and are climbing up east windham mountain... i lost 4wd for a week in my f150 bc of a $2 snap ring.. i could BARELY make it up the moutain... i was all over the road trying to keep her going so i dont stop and just sit there spinning.. it was a mess.. luckily there werent alot of cars on the road and some that were, were pulled over.lol.. i couldnt imagine being them and seeing a black f150 fish-tailing all the way up the mountain.. haha

it is for me too.. i love getting the phone calls during the day from my friends saying there stuck... im always around town with chains in the back.. lol. i love it.. but not anymore.. well at least not until gas goes back down.. i was happy to see it go down form 409 to 395 this week.. i wish it would keep going...
