There are many who have cut the rears off, and not had any problems with the CEL coming on, and the post cat 02's only monitor catalyst efficiency, they have no control over mileage, power, etc, they are just a OBDII monitor. If they do come on, it is likely a high mileage vehicle that could use new 02's anyway, or you can buy($50+) or make($10) a set of MIL elims and take care of the CEL.

Correct. Well i've decided im cutting the rears. Should be done some time next week. I'll buy the pipes and clamps to do the project. Not going to weld though, going to clamp it all so I can reverse it if needed, but yep I agree with you all its got cats, huge pre-cats

Ofcoarse I will Camcorder goes with me whenever any exhaust related thing is done. I'm anxious to hear the added volume myself, and hoping for just a tiny ounce of drone. Magnaflows a party outside but too stock feeling inside But I love the sound.

You should have done sideswept then, mine sounds incredible inside now that it's broken in.

I never really cared for side swept style. Out the back side exit i've always loved the looks on especially on 4wd trucks.

I liked the look out the back, it's just so hard keeping the tips in good shape and mine always got coated with rubber, and the exhaust bottomed out a few times as well.

True, my tips need polished up more than often, but I think its worth it. I've been considering molded splash guards though.
