Brute Force!!!

WOW!!! finally got my intake in on tuesday, but couldn't install until saturday due to an incident with a bent piece of metal and my gas tank on the freeway. I don't think I could be any happier with the intake. Install went fairly smoothly. Only had one problem with the heatshield and lining it up to a hole where you place one of the mounting screws. Took me about an hr to get the old one out and the new one in. Looks GREAT! Went to take it out for a drive and ran a little rough on startup but the MAF seems to have recalibrated itself and just performs better than ever. Going to try a get it on a dyno once I get around to calling my cousin. As soon as I do I'll let everyone know how it effects the A/F.

Now for a little better review on what I think. I am currently running the edge on level 2. I have had no problems with throwing codes. I'll get a better idea once I check the A/F. When I roll the gas there is a nice growl to the engine with no drone. When WOT it roars and just powers forward. Makes a good combo with my magnaflow and gives a deep rumble but still with a performance sound. Throttle response is much better, there is not such a drastic "lag" from pedal to engine response. Seems easier to make those passes on the freeway now.

This is just a great intake. I'm loving the performance and the great sound it makes. The craftsmanship of this intake is top notch. Solid welds and great quality polished finish.

If anyone can let me know how to post pics, I can have them up as soon as notified how.

yeah i love the look and it sounds great, made the exhaust deeper and more of a growl. I did get a chance to have the A/F ratios checked and it is running a little lean just so everyone knows. should be sending my edge into bill soon to make it a gryphon. he will be able to fix the lean condition correct?

I sure hope so because I sent my Edge into Bill yesterday to do the upgrade. I am going to be purchasing a Brute force as well.

yeah I figured even if it came out running fine I would send it into bill just so I could tap into what this engine has to offer
