I'm going to buy the 94306s. If I can be guarantee'd the 94006 will work too, i'll go with those, they are a tad louder. Our cats dont have sensors in them. Leave the sensors as is, and move the cats to their sides and installed, perfect fit.

Looking forward to the pics, and hearing if a engine light elluminates. I called Troyer Performance and asked the lady if the 94006 would work right, I didn't get a straight honest answer, then I asked her if the 94306 ( which their site states '97+ will work right with them ) would work and she said as long as our cats do not have O2s yes, so thats what I will be buying. One guy on here Id's as Joshchester bought 94006s for his '98 5.4L and reported no CEL and a good sound. but like I said the volume difference between the two is very minor.

Wish I could try it and answer this for everyone but I dont have the money ( or shop willing to do the work ) so I gotta hold off for a few months. I look forward to your feedback, Good luck!

I've got the 94305 (2.25" diameter piping) cats and it sounds great!

I got my cats, a local guy had some carsound brand cats which apparently is who makes magnaflows cats and he compared them for me, the carsounds look exactly the same, just don't have the maggy logo, the part number for carsound was 24006 and maggys are 94006, we'll see what happens.I already know i'm screwing myself on the ca cat thing but oh well,

I think Magnaflow is a company from carsound. If not then I guess they have an ally somewhere in the lines. So your cats are pretty much the 94006s, looking forward to hearing them!

yeah the only difference between our setups really would be my jba headers and your exhaust tips, so the difference should be minimal in sound.

k well it turns out these cats were to god to be true, they are not obd2 so it wuld definatly throw a light, the ones we need are a 43 series, so i just kept my 2 front cats and deleted my last 2 unmonitered ones. havn't heard it as of yet, so we'll see.

I talked to a local maggie dealer, and they said that the 94006 cats are OBDII kosher and have swapped out a lot of late model trucks (including F150's) with them without any issues.

I purchased 2 of them and some 304L stainless steel mandrel bends to make a new header to muffler section. A new true dual cats-back section will come later when money allows. Until then, I'll have a maggie y-pipe to dump into the existing cheapy 3" summit muffler (it is the best one though...) will have to work for a month or so.
