Will this Magnaflow muffler fit?

Guys,

Go a '07 HD Saleen F150 and want to fit a custom system. I already have Magnaflow HiFlo cats ready to go on and want to go true dual with a X pipe.

I have been told by the UK distributer that this is the muffler to go with as it has a built in X pipe.....only problem is its 22 inches long....Anyone fitted one and was there clearance issues.
Dont want to be ordering it up and then finding it wont fit.....

It will fit, the OEM muffler itself is 32"s long, 38" overall. The 22" Magnaflow will be too quiet though, I would get a 14"

Cheers Darren.

I am concerned the larger muffler will only sound as good as the stock one....even with the hi-flo cats....

I have looked on the Magnflow site and can find the 18inch one but not a 14 inch muffler....

I was thinking of a true dual with seperate mufflers for each pipe instead of a complete unit. This would give a better sound I think?

Any thought?

Kev

Were you searching universal mufflers? cause they're all out there. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntt=magnaflow+14%22&N=700+115+429492 2710&Ntk=KeywordSearch

the 5x8 body is a deeper toned model, the 4x9 is a bit louder and still deep, the rounds are the loudest and deep toned.

I personally think true duals sound better than a single muffler. Listen to my video of my 11" Magnaflow mufflers and compare my clip to some other magnaflow clips on youtube with single mufflers. You'll hear the sound true dual has over single.

The cool thing about the Magnaflow DI/DO is it has a built in X pipe so theres no need to buy an X pipe or H pipe.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have to ask the same question about he muffler that I bought today for my F-150. It is a 3" SI/2.5" DO Magnaflow muffler. I got a great deal on the muffler since I only paid 87 bucks for it.
