True Duals Throw a Code?

When I got my maggie installed, I talked about doing true duals with my muffler guy. He advised me that most of the late model 4.6 and 5.4's that he's installed true duals on have started throwing DTC's.

Anyone experienced this? I probably won't go true duals in the near future, I'm just enjoy learning and hearing from you guys on these topics.

I have never heard that. Don't see how it's possible. If it is, I will learn something too.

the only reason it would throw a code is if you did something to the cats, after them it shouldnt matter what you do.

Sweet, maybe this guy's just trying to cover all his bases. So absolutely NOTHING comes back to him, lol.

i installed LT's and High flow cats - and its been fine for about a month and a half. One day the emission light came on, so i disconnected the battery - checked for leaks and made sure my sensors werent melted yada yada, everything seemed fine. when i replugged my battery the light was gone... anybody else have anything like this happen? Am i just going to have to reset my system every so often or what?

To me the only way that you would throw a check engine light is if you were to move the cats from the stock position. If its moved farther away from the stock position you will actually lose 400 degrees every 2 inches. So its sorta of a touchy thing.
