I'm tossing around the idea of doing the Magnapacks as a mid muffler system right behind the mid pipe with a O/R X Pipe (Cat Deletes). What do you think?

Yeah but i think with the muffler right below you, its going to drone/resonate a lot more than your straight pipes are. When i say too loud, i mean annoying kinda loud. Nothing wrong with being as loud as possible, but with it sounding good at the same time.

Yeah it may be quiet, but it will still sound great. They will still have that break in period to go through also remember, after a couple thousand miles it should be good. But I'm not looking for exhaust tickets like that damn Silverado's true dual super 44s got me. Hi-Flow cats should solve the quiet problem a bit when I find someone to do it. If I get bored with free time i'll see if my bud and I can cut my rear cats out and only run pre-cats like your system was. If you got no CEL then I'll go for it. And anyways, i'll be louder than the cat-back people with 18" mufflers

It'll sound sweet, I have longtubes, no cats w/exhaust cutout on my Trans Am by the passenger side. The inside noise is just a rumble and hey at least you will know when the key is switched to on.

Heres some pictures of the exhaust, no videos yet, I'll try over the weekend. Too busy lately to add it onto my computer and edit and all.

So its 2.5" true duals, shop made X pipe into the pipes where the Y conenctor was, dual 11" Magnaflow mufflers, 2.5" side swept tips with 4x18 Magnaflow tips.

Oh I forgot, It sounds very awesome. I believe I made the right choice. A little quiet but in the future I may cut out my rear cats, or if I find someone to do the hi-flows. And they still gotta break in. Very deep and well toned system. First start this morning had me in a big grin.

It sounds fuggin nice! Not 100% satisfied, it could be louder ( gotta cut them rear cats out! ), but the tone and rev sound is perfect. It sounds very much like a '99 - '04 Mustang GT actually, with a Borla Stinger cat-back but quieter and deeper. But in person that deep toned growl is awesome, especially on a cold start.

No photos yet, at the exhaust shop I never took any ( camera was in the truck and truck was on the lift ) but I recorded some and the first start up. I was finally able to detail the truck up a bit since I wasn't ever able to in the past 3 weeks, tomorrow i'll get pics and more video. Set the tripod up or wake my lazy friend up to direct some Then i'll post the video.

Well I'll know on Wednesday. I ordered the Magnapacks on Thursday night at about 7o'clock. The tracking information says it's scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. So Wednesday morning I'll go have them put on before the car hits the dyno for some fun with E-85.
