Exhaust?????

I have a 07 Supercab 5.4 i need help on exhaust. I want something loud, but i don't want Ford bitching about my pipes, and not stand by on their warranty if something goes wrong with the motor. I only have 17,000 miles on it. Cause I had a 06 supercrew with true duals no mufflers, and at like 36,000 the motor started to miss fire and ford was like your truck has straight pipes and they couldn't figured it out, so i got rid of the truck, so i don't want to go through that again. So give me some good ideas......

Stock until your warranty's done.

It's different dealership to dealership, but if you have something wrong with your truck and aftermarket parts, that's the first thing they'll point their finger at. A lot of time, your SOL and not covered. I HIGHLY doubt your misfire was caused by your exhaust...

Anything you do after the cats should not matter. At least that's the case at the dealer I work for. If you are concerned about it still, I would recommend going with a cat-back system that attaches after the y-pipe.

As long as its got mufflers it will be alright. Straights can be a little hard on an engine.
