X Pipe cost and intall

I just talked to the local muffler shop and asked if he could fab me a x-pipe and he said he could or he can get one from his supplier like the Magnaflow and install it for $60.00. Sounds like a great deal to me... what do yall think?

oops title should say INSTALL.

sounds good if its stainless steel because the x pipe alone usually is around that price

Be sure to get some vids with the X-pipe in!!!

I'm curious to see how it will actually affect the tone and volume of your exhaust...

Yea, I saw some x pipes on ebay for $30 plus $20 shipping and it didn't say if it was Magnaflow so I'm not sure of the brand my muffler shop gets but he said it is built better than what he could fab up and that it's like a Magnaflow. As far as sound goes he said it should mellow it out and obviously will balance out the exhaust. I'm still running lean since I put the high flows on and I think my gas mileage is suffering from that, so I'm looking for something to help out...it sounds like one side of the exhaust has a raspier sound at idle and I'm hoping the x pipe will help this and the lean problem. Do yall know of anything else to help the lean code?

Congrats on the X pipe, sounds like a deal. Update us with a video once installed, that b$%&! ur driving is LOUD! Should tone down just minimal with doing its job. I bet first day after install you will feel the performance increase once the gas is against the firewall

And $60 sounds great.
