Looking to do a modest exuast soon.

Originally I was thinking of just replacing the stock muffler with a resonator(glasspack) and be done with it. But Im concerned about the sound.

I want to keep it relatively cheap and modest, but the sound im looking for is really mellow through-out the entire range of RPM. I know I will not achieve this by throwing on a resonator, but is this possible with just a muffler swap, if so what brand and model?

As for noise levels, I want it louder then stock but not obnoxious, personally, I don't get having the redneck, crazy loud exuast on a classy looking truck such as the f150.

At most, I will consider a cat-back system, I will not be replacing or deleting cat's, not because Im against it, but I just don't want to for my application.

Suggest away..

Magnaflow 18" 5x8 muffler. Quiet as stock at idle, and under throttle just a nice exterior hum that wont drive you crazy inside.
