Welding Exhaust/On Vehicle

Has anyone run into problems or adverse effects doing this ? I pulled the ALL fuses, Disconnected the PCM plug before welding and now I have 1/2 of my dash lights - Bulbs are good.

I welded the EGR header bung nipple and also tacked the Y header flange before clamping (slip- fit , NO donuts).

Just wondering if I screwed up my electrical when I welded or it's just a coincidence ?

Yea , I don't know how it could of surged past either of the fuse blocks, unless it used the back door and found a ground (engine strap/cab to frame rail). Idunno, I'm pulling the cluster again - Checking for cracks in the PSB this time - It's cracked before (factory defect)
