Exhaust & Intake System Recommendations

Hope you guys can help - I'm looking to install an aftermarket performance exhaust and air intake system on my '05 FX4. I'd appreciate some opinions/thoughts/recommendations, etc.
Thanks

I have a magnaflow and love the sound it generates. I'll also soon be going with the AEM Brute Force but can't fully recommend it until I get it installed.

AF1 or S&B for the intake.

Exhaust depends on how much you want to spend and how you want it to exit the truck. MBRP makes great systems but expensive. You can also just pick out what size Magnaflow muffler you want and have it fabbed up.

Custom tuning is highly recommended with these mods.

3.5" AirforceOne (AF1) intake if you plan to get custom tuning, the 3" AF1 if no tuning.

Borla cat-backs are the highest quality, great sound and better mpg. They're expensive though..

I'd sure look into Roush exhuast.. they're made by Borla but cost a bit less.. they look great and sound killer!

Depends. Do you want a closed box design? If so get the S&B. Do you want a open air filter? If so, get the AF1 3.0". Don't forget you'll need custom tuning. I recommend a Xcal2 or Xcal3 from VMP Tuning.

Exhaust is a crap shoot. The Magnaflow is really quiet. The MRBP sounds good. The Roush sounds awesome, it's made by Borla, but to Roush's specifications. I ran a custom set-up. True duals, with cats, with a H Pipe and two Dynomax Race Bullets and dumps. All 2.5" tubing. It sounded awesome.
