making new long pipes

Ok well im looking at making some new long pipes or atleast thats what i think there called.i probaly wont run cats or resenators......i was woundering if anyone had info on where to put the o2 sensors or do i evan need them?

you talking about long tube headers or you just putting in a new exhaust? try to keep the o2s as close to the original positions as possible. or atleast 2 on each side and keep one in front of the cat and one behind. since you arent running cats then search for an o2 simulator or get a tune with an o2 delete.

the pipe coming off the hedders right before the y pipe

Most long tube headers have the front o2 bung inside the collector you need the front o2 to tell the computer how much gas is left in the exhuast

the rear o2's just tell the computer if the cats are working you can get Rear o2 sims for the back or if you get a programer you should be able to do a rear o2 delete.
