Headers Anyone?

Anyone running headers? I see a lot of talk about exhaust and CAI but I havnt seen anything about headers. Just curious. Is there a reason not to have them or is it just nobody is discussing them?

There's talk both on here, and in the other exhaust sub-forum. Basically, long tubes=good HP and torque gain, short tubes=not much gains, a little louder.

Dynatech longtubes all the way. shorties will net you no hp/tq gains, only some noise.

this has been talked about alot... im pretty sure built saw 30HP/35Ftlbs with his dynatechs over shortys. With shortys he saw 0Hp/0Ftlbs. Dynatechs cost alot but there Stainless steel and will never rust. OBX are made in china and stainless steel to i belive some people have complained of bad welding.

Pacesetters are the cheapest at only 283.00 for a pair of headers but they are steel and will rust. Dynatechs are about 1,100 for a pair of headers and OBX's are i think like 400-500?

i have pacesetters and i felt a diff. from my shortys i dynoed before but have not had time to dyno after. Long tubes or nothing.

Any more question on headers feel free to ask...many people here have longtubes
