help-need intake bolt torq specs

installing intake on 4.2l, Haynes manual lists torque specs as 44in lbs then 89 in lbs. If you convert this to ft lbs as my torque wrench is built you get 4 ft lbs then 8 ft lbs. Is this right, I would think I could drive the bolts by hand with these specs????

It's not a big deal, you really don't need to use a torque wrench on a bolt like that ...
