Factory Y pipes aren't too free flowing, ORY never hurts.

My left bank pipe downsizes to 2.2+- inches just before joining the right bank pipe. My right bank pipe had a slightly jagged 1.83 inch hole that the left bank pipe was welded to.

Surface cross section of the hole was 2.5434" (3.14 * .9 squared). Stock 2.5 inch pipe cross section is 4.906 inches. So yeah, its restrictive and unbalanced. Good first exhaust change for all our trucks.
