i'd be surprised if another member on here has one of those...doesn't it look like the pipe bends around to much?? it only needs to go 90 degrees...i doubt it gets 8-12 increase in hp like it says...IMO waste of money...i could be way off but to me it looks like that black plate would match your MAF sensor, the hole would be for you air temperature gromme and sensor, and the two tubes would be for you crankcase and IAC tubes ( i think thats the names)

I would probably return it and look into a good name brand CAI. Go with Air Force, K&N, AEM, etc... I wouldn't trust a generic CAI on my truck.

Agreed. Its not the tubing and connectors that I'm really worried about, but more of the unknown filter. Who knows where it was made, how well it performs or how well it filters. Those are NOT risks i would want to take on my expensive truck.

i agree with the others to get a better brand CAI...maybe even a used one...but if you go with that i highly doubt a plate and gasket connects to the throttle body...most likely it will be a red rubber hose u connect to it with a hose clamp...btw im basing these off my K&N install on a 5.4, but the kit had instructions for both and the differences were minimal
