I know that the pre-cats sensor is before them a few, there is no O2 sensor mounted onto the pre-cat so it should be good to remove it.

And I wouldn't go to a shop asking to remove the pre-cat, the right term to use is Resonator

When I did mine I just took the high flow cats to the shop and said I need these installed. Please take out the four cats and install my two high flows. Job done in about an 1 hr 15 min.

How did it run after that? Could you really feel a difference with the high flow cats?

Mine ran like chit until I replaced the front 2 O2 sensors now she runs great but the CEL is on because it runs lean. They say the only way to get the light off is o2 simulator which I aint spending the money on.

When I did mine I had no problems at all. I think they have been on my truck for like 6 months and I love them. You will not notice a big gain in performance but you will notice the sound of the truck is 10 times better than stock. I would say that the truck runs stronger on the topend now with the high flows. When you do them make sure you reset your computer.

I removed all four cats and then installed the two high flows. I have the two high flow cats (94306) going to a SI/DO Magnaflow muffler (12198) and then exits behind each tire with a 3.5" tip. Is that what you wanted to know?
