Better exhaust with good sound for I6?

I have a 95 f150 4x4 I6. The person before me hacked the crap put of the exhaust. Rear cat is gone. The front cat is still there. The O2 sensor is located between the exhaust manifold tubes before the front cat. The front cat has an air tube inlet. It is a single exhaust from there back with a cherry bomb. The engine is pretty much stock. It's not going to blow anything away on the Hwy and I don't need it to.

My questions:
1.) I don't like loud exhausts but I like nice deep tones like the V8s. I know that this will never happen with the I6, but is there anything that will achieve fairly quite deep tones?

2.) I thought about doing HF cats and true duals. What would I need to do with the air tube on the front cat, or is this just a stupid idea?

3.)It's not going to blow anything away on the Hwy and I don't need it to, but anything that might give it alittle more go would be nice. So, are there any setup suggestions? Anything I should consider or completely stay away from?

Id say just change the muffler out, put in a Flowmaster 40 series Delta.
