Need Advice !

I'm turning over my 97 F150 SC XLT 4.6l V8 to my boy who's about to turn 16. He likes to make a little noise. I'm looking at Glass Pack or something. Any advice on how to make it rumble cost effectively? Truck has factory exhaust that turns out in front of rear tire now. I'd like to install whatever I get myself.

Thanks,

The trucks are quiet enough with just the cats, run straight pipe where the muffler is and it will sound fine that will be the cheapest way for sure.

Dynaflow Bullet

I'm looking at a Dynaflow Bullet. Please ignore the ignorance but can I just cut out my stock muffler and clamp Bullet in its place using existing piping?

You can do that but may need to add a section of pipe if the dynaflow isnt as long as the stock muffler

Clamps?

How about those 360 degree clamps instead of welding. Do you know if these work and stay on?
Thanks,

Yeah you can just use clamps, the factory exhaust is clamped on.
