watch those tips, they will turn on you in a matter of about 5 months. I had the same kit for about a 1 year and went through 2 sets of tips on it. I finally went with some chromed stainless tips from silverline i think

I remember that story - I thought that guy dumped just over the rear axle tho. Was that the dual out kit he was running?

Damn!! Talk about bursting a guys bubble. Ya big bullys.

I remember that post also. I just don't under stand how the exhaust was getting that hot at the rear of the truck to set the tire on fire! Ohhhh well only time will tell. But im sure there are lots of peeps running this system with no problems.
Mine is going to be liquid cooled with Guinness. So no tire fire here!

I think that would be cool myself, you might have to do a nose dive to put the flames out. If you want to.

I wouldn't worry. I think he was towing some heavy lows. Towing = much higher EGTs, and the fact the the pipe was <1" from the spare tire caused it to melt and catch fire.

Unless you tow heavy loads, i wouldn't worry too much. I think you run Troyer's tunes too right? His towing tunes specifically keep EGTs low to avoid this. Hopefully that helps too.

Hey bud good to see ya hanging out with us. As for my Maggie i put it on today!! Had to modify it a bit at the rear hangers but alls good now. Shes got a nice growl to her now. Now it sounds like there a 5.4 gas eating V8 Biatch under the hood. Still getting used to it compared to the stock quite exhaust.
I'll post some pics real soon!
