Sounds great! Not too loud inside. Congrats.

& I would definitely add a tip, not just for looks, but a tip can give it a deeper tone and echo it better. If its all 2.5" I would suggest a 3.5" outlet tip.

the muffler is actualy 3 inches, and the pipe comming to the outlet i had a reducer put on to make it 2.5 so it could run the stock tail pipe, i am going to eventually change it out and get true dual, and put 3 inch all the way around. but for now this will due.

Oh so its a single system in & out the muffler? ok.

Well 3" true duals on a gas V8 isn't really good unless your block is 350ci+. My Silverado has 3" true duals with the Super 44s, Magnaflow cats, & a H pipe & it runs perfect, no loss or gain. Its got a 6.0L 364 gas V8 in it though. Running 3" true duals on a 281ci 4.6 would really hurt your performance. If you plan for true duals, keep the pipe size no larger than 2.5" max, I would actually have 2.25" duals for a 4.6 though. These trucks really rely on the backpressure and bigger pipe loses it all, and loses your torque and economy.
