Question 98 4.6 headers?

Looking for direct fit replacement headers for a 98' F150 4.6 auto?

Lots of mustang headers out there, are they a direct fit, including the EGR? Looking for stainless. Mechanic has price on replacement OE manifolds but $599 so headers make economical sense.

Anyone with especially shorty equal length headers lemme know how they fit, which model, how you like'em and how the install went?

Thanks!

to answer. no mustangs wont fit. longtubes will fit if you have a two wheel drive not 4x4. shorty headers only net about 5hp as longtube get about 30

Ok thanks for that.

Actually prefer shorty equal length and stainless vs shorty unequal length which wouldn't do much better than stock cast pieces. Looking at stainless simply from how corroded the OE pieces are. The bolts holding the cat pipes to the actual manifold are almost non-existent, corrode right through on 2 bolts. Crazy.

I see BBK makes a shorty header but not equal-length tubes. Anybody?

What is the fit problem when using Mustang shorty's on the truck 4.6?
