Travis,

I see you have an 05 F150 as well. What is the exact Magnaflow part # you used that fits our trucks? Are both of the cats the same models? I'm trying to figure out which ones to use for the O2 sensors on the 05 truck.

Thanks!

Will

It sounds like you like it, congrats.... I agree with it being the best exhaust mod, I loved how it changed the sound of the truck.

Did mine....

And all I can say is DAMN!!! I also have a Magnaflow exhaust with pre rear axle exit tail. It is rediculously loud. I'm going to have to install a stock muffler back in. Now at 1500 rpm it sounds like most hotrods at 3500. A stock muff, will still sound impressive I'm sure of with the hi flow cats and pre axle exit pipes.

our trucks have 4 cats? correct?

so my question(s) are

a) would i gain anything from removing the rear cats and getting high flows for the front?

b) would i still pass emissions with only two cats?

really want some new cats
i have a good feeling it would really **** off my neighbors

If you re-installed your stock muffler and tailpipe you'll gain in performance or just a better set up - 40's are just noise makers and torque munchers.

Removing all your factory cats and installing Magnaflow HF's can help Torque/Power/Mileage as long as it's got something good behind it.

You'll pass emissions with dual Magnaflow HF's - There compliant. If your just into noise - hack that 40 off and you'll wiz off the neighbors. IMO V6's don't sound good loud unless there built - sound better @ medium tone's.
