i have heard there is something involving resistors that can be done as well but you will have to wait for someone else to chime in

Are you saying that you don't have ANY O2 sensors right now, or that you don't have REAR O2 sensors?

Why did you remove your front sensors?
Put them back in! Right now, if not sooner.

Then come back and we can talk simulators for your rear sensors.

What I know about the O2s, the rears are the ones that give the CEL & will need the sims to delete the CEL ( but still have the CEL operable for the other compounents its related to notify if something goesc wrong elsewhere.

Fronts I have no idea.

I'm not exactly sure, but it could be related to the engine temperature, basically could involve getting the accurate engine temp readout in your cluster. Not sure of this, just what I think.

Yup, the ECU needs feedback from the front O2 sensors to help determine the proper A/F ratio. They are absolutely necessary for proper engine operation.

With no front sensors your truck is running closed loop which is likely very rich to protect the engine. In addition to the CEL, your truck is getting cr@ppy MPG and is way down in power.

Yup, the front ones tell the computer how your truck is operating. The back ones tell your computer how the cats are operating. You can trick the computer with simulaters for the back ones, but your truck absolutly has to have the front ones in place to run properly.

Yeah you definitely have to have those front sensors in there or else your ecu is not getting the proper feedback about the A/F ratio. The rear sensors can be bypassed through "Mil eliminators" you can do a google search and buy them for about $15 a piece or build them yourself for about $3 a piece. You still have to have the rear 02's in place but splice in the mil eliminators.
