Local muffler shop for #16608..

99' Lariat Flareside, 5.4L, 4x2 EC / SB

I was told they could do the same basic set-up as the maggie 16608 using the SI (3.0")/DO (2.5") and aluminized piping with 3.5" slash cut stainless tips for $360 out the door.

My current stock muffler has SI/SO (2.5" in and 2.5" out).
Should I stay with the same diameter in and out or go with the 2.5" in and dual 3.0" out.
Don't want to loose any power.

As long as you run the 2&1/2 to the muffler. It wont make any difference what you go with after the muffler!
3" after the muffler might sound a little better then 2 and 1/2 after it. But not much.

Fair price, but I would much rather go 3" inlet to dual 2.5" outlet. Breathe better & better high end rpm performance.

The maggie # 12288 (5x8x18" body) in the satin ss with 3" inlet
and dual 2.5" outlet.
Should sound a little better than the stock muffler.

Definitely. Louder and better toned than stock, but not roaring loud and trouble causing.

Nice wheels! Where did you pick those up from? Now you need a Harley grille up front! I got mine from NHTOC.COM...

Luke,
got the wheels from my Cuz's 2003 HD Truck.
His truck had the 22" million dollar wheels so he sold me the 03' 20"s.

This kit 16608 is in stock and is ready to ship out. All you have to do is contact one of the suppliers that are on this site and they will be able to set you guys up. Or you can do a search on our website and find a dealer. I will be doing a Product Release as soon as I get a little bit more information on it re: HP, TQ etc

I didn't go with the 16608 as they weren't available yet.
Had the muffler shop install the maggie oval 5x8x18", 3" SI/2.5" DO and the
18" SS tips out the side.
Sorry if their was any confusion on my part.

Yeah these kits are available right now to be shipped out. We have had an overwhelming response to this set up. They are going fast.
