the outer diameter of the intake tube is 3.5"...it is the inner that is important. The 3" ID has an inner sleeve, and the 3.5" ID has the sleeve removed.

So, just playing devil's advocate here, but can I buy the 3.0" AF1 to run stock while I wait for my tunes and just remove the sleeve after I install my tunes later? Or is the sleeve "unremovable"?

 

I am 99% sure it is unremovable.... but need to contact AF1 to make sure.
